The HVAC division opens.
WR Christie opened its HVAC division, expanding into distribution, retail and installation from Voortrekker Road in Pretoria.
Endabou opens at Gateway.
The Endabou building was completed in 1989 and inaugurated by William Rust Christie. Today it stands in tribute to the late company founder and the next chapter of growth he helped begin.
One of the first factory buildings in Gateway Industrial Park, the site originally looked out across the open farmlands of Centurion.
The N1 headquarters opens.
The N1 building was completed and opened as a new flagship headquarters, giving the growing group a highly visible base for its next era.
WRC Media launches.
WR Christie opened its specialist media division, providing airport and transit advertising for brands targeting passenger audiences.
Appointed by the Presidential Office.
WR Christie was contracted by the Presidential Office for HVAC supply and installation serving the Union Buildings residences, including work associated with the Deputy President’s official Pretoria residence.
The N1 mega site launches.
The group opened its N1 mega site billboard at the N14 and N1 junction, designed for visibility from both highway corridors.
A new Pretoria development.
WR Christie acquired a new property development site in central Pretoria for the expansion of a flagship drive through store.
